Our Services

Smart Support is a community mental health organisation that has helped hundreds of Victorians work through stabilising their psycho-social conditions, by utilising unique services and supports on personal development and recovery.

Community and In-home Support Workers
A qualified mental health support worker assists participants both in their homes and within the community by providing practical and emotional support to help them work toward greater independence. In participants’ homes, support workers often assist with daily activities such as prompting self-care, meal preparation, and household management, while offering emotional support and helping participants develop coping strategies. They also work with participants to set achievable goals that contribute to their larger objectives, enhance independence, and encourage participation in activities that promote overall well-being.
In the community, support workers typically accompany participants to appointments, assist with social interactions, help with grocery shopping, and encourage participation in recreational activities that foster a sense of inclusion and connection. Each support worker focuses on empowering participants to improve their quality of life and maintain stability by providing tailored assistance based on individual needs and goals.

Community Programs
Smart Support offers a range of capacity-building programs in the community designed to help participants work towards their greater goals and enhance their independence. These programs focus on developing essential skills such as life skills, social interactions, emotional regulation, and goal setting, tailored to each participant’s unique needs. By building these core capabilities, participants are empowered to take greater control of their lives, increase self-confidence, and work toward achieving long-term personal, social, and vocational goals. Smart Support’s capacity-building programs provide a supportive and structured environment that fosters growth and encourages participants to reach their full potential.
